I have a thing for jackets, coats, and scarves, which I find very versatile and fashionable with other clothing. For my friend Muna (plain brown coat), I encouraged her to accentuate the structure/curvature of her coat. For my friend Marielle (checked coat), I cheered her on for a reach-the-ceiling jump shot in hopes of encouraging her child side to emerge. For the pictures that included both, I wanted to capture their smiles. I loved the moment when they looked at each other and laughed. I think a large reason why I was able to make this work was due to how they were already close pals to begin with (: I also picked a location that had abundant natural architectural lines and curves for me to play around with composition spontaneously.
